The Next Idea is an International restaurant and hospitality consulting group. We are based in Woodland Hills, (San Fernando Valley), and have regional offices in London, United Kingdom, Dubai (UAE), and India. We work across the world, specializing in concept creation, development and management -- everything from research, strategy, brand and product development, franchising, through to design, execution, systems and operations, and communication.
The job entails: Supporting Clients with project execution including but not limited to:
1. Training new staff
2. Re-training staff
3. New Restaurant Set up
4. Helping with written training material
5. Recruiting staff for clients
6. Online activities
7. Supporting the opening Consultants and being inolved with Concept Development
We are interested to meet with people who have strong training credentials (do not need to be management, but is preferred)
Candidates should be educated to degree level, have good computer skills, understand all Microsoft Office programs, have an interest in creative consulting, possess excellent attention to detail, be fluent in English (additional languages a plus), and have an excellent work ethic.
This job is for someone who is taking their career seriously, and is willing to work long hours and learn.
This job may involve international travel for up to 3 weeks away from home at a time

This role is a mid-level consultant within
the TNI organization and is responsible for culinary creation covering the
following:
New menu development
Plate presentation
Client training
New Culinary ideation
The Chef Consultant must be able to take
direction, translate client and company assignments, set clear goals while
establishing criteria for decision-making and direct change while maintaining
operating effectiveness. He/She must
also be able to understand and convey the organization’s vision, goals, and
strategies and dissect local issues relevant to the project.
A passion for Creative food creation, Client
service, innovation, product quality and perfection is a pre-requisite for this
role. The chef must have capabilities, understanding and interest in diverse and
international cuisine.
Key Performance
Elements/Essential Functions:
- Creative menu and dish
development
- Accurately documents recipes
and plating/presentation standards
- Actively liaises with TNI
consultants on a regular basis ensuring all client projects are on
schedule and per client agreements
- Understands Hospitality
industry and stays informed of developments and concepts

culinary team

Job Summary,

Immediate opening for a Consulting Executive Chef for a new culinary concept in Los Angeles.
The Consulting Executive Chef is responsible for all aspects of the dining and menu program, including, but not limited to, menu creation, staffing and scheduling, inventory/budget control, food handling, preparation and storage, sanitation procedures and safety compliance.
